One of the cornerstones of the pagan community (in fact, almost all religious communities) is the Ritual.

“Ritual” is a fancy word for:

What we do for a specific purpose and how we do it.

That is not the dictionary definition, but that is what it boils down to. If you want to do something in paganism, many people choose to do it through a ritual.

One of the primary purpose of a ritual is to get your mind off the everyday world (aka “Mundania”) and get into a state where we are mentally and emotionally focused on a specific purpose or goal.

Creating a ritual is a common practice for pagan groups and solitaires. However, it is difficult to start with a blank page and just “make one”. To help you get started designing your own rituals, I have created the Ritual Creation Worksheet.

It provides a simple, yet thorough, template to get you designing your own rituals. It includes sections for each part of a typical ritual and prompts you to include the details that are often forgotten during ritual creation.

It is designed for a wide range of ritual uses in a broad selection of traditions. It is regularly updated as new ideas come in, so check back periodically to see if there is a new version.
